Frequestly Asked Questions

When should I book my trip?
We recommend booking lodging as soon as possible. Napa is a tourist destination and things book up pretty quickly. There has also been shortages of rental cars this past year, so make sure you reserve a car if you need one.
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code is semi-formal. When choosing a semi-formal ensemble, you want to select something fancier than you would wear to the office, but a bit less formal than black tie garb.
What will the weather be like?
On May 7th, the average high is 70°F and the average low is 48°F in American Canyon. More data for May 7 here.
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Both will be at Chardonnay Golf Club. The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside, a short 3 minute walk from the ceremony location.
How do I RSVP?
  1. Go to the RSVP form.
  2. Enter your name in the search field to find your party.
  3. If there are multiple matches, select your party.
  4. Answer our questions and click “Save”.
What are your plans for COVID-19?

While we will not require it, we kindly request that you be vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 before attending our wedding.

We anticipate around 100 guests. The ceremony will be outdoors and the cocktail hour/reception have outdoor options available. Dinner, however, will be held indoors in the ballroom.

With regards to masks and social distancing, we will be following the Napa County / CDC guidelines.

Since we will be a large group gathering, please get tested and make sure you are negative before attending.

We appreciate your understanding and consideration for the health and safety of all our guests.

Are livestream options available?
Yes. We will have a livestream of the ceremony. When you add your email to this separate RSVP for Lovecast, they will send you a reminder with a link to the event.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend you arrive by 4:30pm.
Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We are only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Do you have a hotel block for guests?
We do not have a hotel block. We have listed some nearby hotels on the Travel page.
When is the RSVP deadline?
The deadline is April 2, 2022, but please respond sooner if you know whether or not you will be attending. You may update your response after submitting it too.
Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?
Yes. When you RSVP, please fill in the “dietary restrictions” field for members of your party with special dietary needs.
Will transportation be provided between to/from the wedding?
We created a Lyft event for up to $30 per person, which you may use to get home, starting at 8pm. Use the code `CHENEYWEDDING` in the Lyft app, or visit lyft.com/lp/CHENEYWEDDING.
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #loveisallcheneys so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
